Duluth: Moose Lake: Triple Cross Dune Buggy Adventure

Overview

Guests will get to experience driving a Buggy through trails in a forest. Guest will traverse through dirt, mud, and water puddles (if it rains). Two confirmed guests will be assigned to one Buggy (No free rider for a single person booking). A minimum of two guests is required to confirm a booking (No exception).

Don’t expect to be clean on this ride, you will get dirty or muddy.

Drivers must be at least 16 years old to drive. Guest under 16 years old will ride as passenger only. Guest can rotate as drivers at any time. Each guest is required to have a confirmed booking.

Weight limit: 440 lbs max load capacity per Buggy. If two passengers' weight is over the weight limit, guest(s) is required to book two separate buggies.

Max height limit: 6ft 2

What To Expect

Moose Lake

Guest will traverse through the surrounding trails and experience a once in a lifetime adventure! Guest gets to drive a buggy through an exciting forest trial. Two guests will be assigned to one buggy. Guest has the option to switch as driver at any time. Guest will have the opportunity to take photos for this awesome excursion. Rain or shine we operate unless severe lighting thunderstorms. There is no rescheduling or refund if you failed to reach the starting point for your reservation. This ride was nothing like what is advertised. We drove around in one circle and saw nothing. The experience was less than adequate and it took us around the same circle over and over. No countryside to see Nothing

Hello, thank you for the feedback. Since it’s your first time driving a dune buggy, we’re sorry you feel that way but the majority of our guests loved their experience. Also, our route is more than a circle, it’s over 3 miles of twists and turns and we’ve never advertised in our ads that it will be going through some countryside, it’s about having fun driving dune buggy through forest trials. Please read the details before setting your expectations. You ended your experience early for whatever reasons, so please don’t say your experience is short. Thank you for visiting.

Great experience! My fiancé and I went on UTV ride in Arizona and we enjoyed it so we thought we look around to see if there’s UTV tour in Minnesota too. Unfortunately I cannot find any place that will offer that but I stumbled upon this experience. Even though it’s not UTV, it was something different that neither of us had drove in which makes it even better! We arrived an hour early than I scheduled for and Long (the guide there) didn’t make us wait. He took us and check us in anyway. Nice of him. My fiancé and I took turn driving and had a lot of fun in the mud! Your clothes will get wet and dirty so definitely bring extra clothes if you are going. Give it a try if you’ve never been on a dune buggy or if you’re looking for something to do near the area.

Marketing on the website set expectations higher than what event offered. However we made the most of it and had a good time. The gentleman helping us was very kind but the investment into the adventure was a little inflated. We felt like the advertisement was false in what we experienced at first impression and the website mentioned that the event was in Duluth. We drove to Duluth only later to realize that this property was actually in Moose Lake (a hour from Duluth). You’re Basically driving around on someone’s pasture land in an old beat up muddy dune buggy taking a 10-15 minute lap (same scenery) that you can repeat as many times as you can make it around in an hour . Machines were very dirty when we got them. There was no formal signage for the company so you’re left to feel like it’s a scam from the start.

Hello, thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry you’re expecting to be clean doing a dirty sport. Most of our guests come here to get dirty and have fun. And our buggies are all 2019 and up, they’re not old, just covered in dirt. Please do not make assumption because it’s covered in mud. This is an extreme outdoor sport which is expected to be dirty and bumpy. We mentioned it in the description that we’re in Moose lake near Duluth and provided the coordinate to the location. Please read the description and location next time before you book an excursion. Thank you
