Dune buggying (if that's a word) is so awesome! I went with some friends, we had a really fun time. The dunes are intimidating at first but once you get a hang of it, it's amazing. I will definitely rent from Sun Buggy again, the staff is very friendly. They are helpful and very clear on how to operate everything. I came in shorts and the staff gave me a pair of sweats no charge, they said I was going to be cold. I was very impressed with the staff and how professional they were. My friends throttle was broken and they gave him a gift certificate for the next day. Its rare that you find such spectacular service. Tips : bring along layers just in case it's gonna be cold. E.g. sweats, sweatshirt... You must wear closed shoes. If you have a gopro camera make sure to bring it, we forgot ours :( make sure your helmet isn't big, otherwise it will shake around and be annoying. If you suspect there is an issue with your vehicle call the staff! We made a mistake and didn't call cause we weren't 100% sure if there was a problem with the vehicle. If we would have called them my friend would have enjoyed way more.

Thank you Shane, My son and I had a fun and safe time racing on the Dunes in Pismo beach. The pointers and information on how to be safe worked perfect. Thanks again for being enthusiastic about your job!!!!

What an amazing time on the sand dunes in Oceano! The breadth of the dunes is remarkable, and the dune buggies are fantastic vehicles to explore and have fun with on the dunes. My group rented two of the two-seater prowlers, which were perfect vehicles because (other than hooking/unhooking your seat belt) there was no learning curve to operating/driving them. Unless you are previously experience with ATVs (and maybe even if you are experienced with ATVS...because dune buggies are a more rare opportunity), then I definitely recommend the buggies. It's worth it to go early in the day because: A. You get the third hour for free. And B. The dunes are less crowded.
