Nice trip down the river. Only got hung up once on a rock. Didn't last the full four and a half hours, but it was plenty long for us older folks. Grandkids had a great time

We went to Durango off-season for rafting but my friend still wanted to go on the river. Despite the low water (less than 1/10th of high season), our tour was fun. The guides were all good and we got to get out of the boat and splash round in the river. If you want to have a true whitewater experience, go in May/June. But whenever you go, Colorado Outback Adventures is a good choice.
