Our experience with Mountain Waters Rafting was excellent. When we arrived the associate informed us that the water was running really high and was cold so that everyone needed to wear full wet suit, booties, and helmet as well as sign an additional waiver. The river was running super high and fast so they were concerned with safety and comfort of the guests. Michael was our guide - we would book again and request him. He and the support safety crew were great folks and very knowledgeable and skilled. A wonderful way to spend part of your day!

Wonderful to hear. Mountain Waters is one of the only companies to run anything besides the Animas River through Durango (Class 3 San Miguel in Telluride, Class 4 Piedra River in Pagosa Springs, and the ultimate Class 5 Upper Animas in Silverton) which leads to the most knowledgeable and skilled guides. Awesome trip! Terrick was a great rafting guide! First time rafting for my 6 year old daughter and she had a blast. My 81 year uncle also went on the trip.

We had a group of four, three adults and one 11 year old that did the two hour trip. Our guide was Spencer, who was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. We happened to pick a day with a fairly high flow which made it extra fun. The staff at this company was helpful and friendly. Overall it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend Mountains Waters. My 11 yr old and I can’t wait to come back.
