Overview

A paved road, downhill bicycle tour through a Federally protected Wilderness zone along the San Andreas Fault. Riders will be treated to magnificent vistas of the wide open Colorado Desert, enter a tortured badlands canyon, then finish off with views of the Santa Rosa Mountains and ride through the agricultural fields of the Eastern Coachella Valley. Age limit is 12 years old. This is a group tour.

The route cuts through the heart of the San Andreas Fault in the Meccacopia Wilderness just outside of Mecca, CA

Salton Sea

Magnificent views of the Salton Sea as guests round the last corner coming out of the canyon

Had a wonderful ride through the canyon road, just as advertised, flat grade, easy do-able bike ride. Peaceful, interesting and enjoyable experience.

Had an awesome day biking. It was just as advertised, 20 miles. Pretty flat. We rode right past two tarantulas crossing the street, one made it when did not. Lol. But that’s OK. It was a beautiful ride with wonderful topography on both sides. Highly recommend! Susie was a wonderful guide.

The comfortable bikes with most of the ride going downhill. We enjoyed riding through the canyon and the faults. Finishing in the fields of lemons, lettuce, onions, and numerous other crops was very interesting.
