East Village Haunted Manhattan tour

Overview
Haunted Manhattan offers the most accurate—and FUN—ghost tours in the city!

On our East Village tour, a secret underworld of ghosts and ghouls reveals itself as you’re guided past 13 haunted stops by the clever, witty, and endlessly entertaining Frankie, a bartender who’s used to dealing with patrons who just don’t want to heed Last Call. From the ghost train at the Astor Place subway stop, to haunted screams in the night on Bond Street, to a cellar where one of America's greatest writers might still be sipping on some amontillado, you’ll see both landmarks and dive bars that make the East Village the legend that it is—and hear the stories of the spirits that call this area home.

A historical, hilarious, and completely hair-raising experience, Haunted Manhattan will show you the greatest city there is, like you’ve never seen it before.

We have been on at least a dozen ghost tours around the world. It is something we like to do in every city we visit. This was the best we have ever been on. We took the Greenwich Village tour with Professor Mortimer. He is very talented and entertaining and a super nice guy. When we visit NYC again next year we will absolutely be doing another tour with this company.

Had a great tour with the professor of greenwhcich village, he was knowledgable, enthusiastic and a great guide. It was a great way to learn a little about the city and a brilliant way to spend a night in New York.

We went on this tour as part of a Ghostbusters competition won in Australia. We missed our first tour on the Tuesday due to some idiot (me) going to the wrong part of the park. So I called the company from a pay phone and the rescheduled our tour for the Thursday night without any problem which was fantastic. When we finally met the concierge he was very animated and a sensational story teller who was great at going over the local history in the west village. Some of the stories made the cockles on the back of your neck stand up and felt like someone or something was watching you. I won't give any of the stories up but would recommend these tours, if nothing more to see some fantastic architecture and get some local history and see part of Manhattan you would not normally see. Thanks Adam
