Well delivered by Bobby who is an engaging and enthusiastic host & guide. The tour contained something for everyones’ interests, from Led Zep, to Madonna, via Iggy Pop & Charlie Parker. My own personal favourite was the singing Nuns staging a gorilla street performance of Xmas carols as we tried to maintain our ‘serious muso’ look. Sign up today if you have any interest in music from the mid 60s onwards. You won’t regret it.

This tour is so awesome if you want to see some amazing art, music, culture & history in NYC from someone who really knows his stuff! Bobby knows the neighbourhood so well that one our tour we even had someone who lives in the area who wanted to take a tour from Bobby! If you are a fan of the NYC music scene of decades past this is seriously the one thing you absolutely MUST do on your trip! The tour was 2 hours and Bobby took us to explore some really cool places, regaling us with interesting stories from his own life as well as some in depth rock n roll history. Seriously the tour is so worth it. Bobby's got a great guide that he sells as well which is great to pick up and explore different landmarks that may not have been on the tour. We went back to get an deeper look at some of the landmarks, stores and bars that we saw on the tour. My boyfriend is much more interested in the punk/rock scene but I still found the tour incredibly interesting and fun.

Bobby Pinn's tour of the East Village is hands-down one of the best things you can do in the city. Music, history, culture, architecture, the guy knows everything there is to know about the glory days (and nights) of music in the Village. And he can tell you where to eat, drink, and shop when the tour is over. Highly recommended!
