This is a great tour to see the slots and an intro to canyoneering. We did the 1/2 day tour. A fun,crazy ride to the Elkheart Canyon. Once there we did 3 rappels, one to get into the canyon and two more within it. Our tour guide, Eric, was very patient with me. I’m fairly scared of heights so was particularly nervous on the first rappel but once I got the hang of it it wasn’t terrifying. It was COLD when we first started out (50) but of course was close to 90 when we finished. If I booked again I might go for the full day instead. Because we were a small group we got through the Canyon fairly quickly and would have been happy to explore and rappel a bit more. Highly recommend!

Great, fun, unique family adventure! Our guide Joe was full of information, patient, and kind. Just remember it’s at East Zion entrance an hour away from Springdale.

This was an AMAZING excursion! We hiked and got to repel at least 6 times, learned about the canyons themselves, as well as the vegetation in the area. Ryan, our guide, made this experience awesome for us! His knowledge and extensive expertise in canyoneering was repeatedly demonstrated throughout our half-day trip. He was a great teacher and made us feel comfortable and confident on every repel! We would absolutely recommend this trip!
