Overview

Escape the crowds and join Roam Outdoor Adventure Co on a truly unique experience. We travel to and from the canyons in our off Road Can Am ATV Defenders operated by our experienced guides. They hold 6 people comfortably. The canyons we go to can only be accessed by private property via locked gates. This ensures that you rarely encounter others. The canyons are breathtaking and rappelling them adds to the adventure.

Being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. We are on Mountain Time and an hour different than Las Vegas and Arizona.

Because of the rappelling portion of the tour all travelers must be under 300 lbs.

What To Expect

Upper Red Cave Slot Canyon

This slot canyon is an absolute must. We will canyoneer as far up the canyon as we can. This canyon also features ancient Native American petroglyphs.

Lower Red Cave Slot Canyon

This will be one of the stops on our tour. After a 30 minute hike to the top of the canyon we will rappel into the slot canyon. Se parts of the canyon that can only be seen via rappelling.

What an amazing day! Five of us (18 to 55 years old) spent the day with Tanner, exploring some of the most amazing terrain we’ve ever seen. We zipped, bounced and bounded to the various slot canyons we visited with Tanner expertly navigating us through the gorgeous but challenging geography. He is clearly an expert in driving a UTV and even on the most treacherous terrain was exhilarating yet safe! A few short and slightly challenging climbs on foot took us to the tops of the slot canyons where we would drop in for multiple rappelling challenges. Tanner took us through the safety components of the challenge and kept us all feeling confident and secure for each of the descents. By the third descent, we were all feeling quite confident and ready for some larger challenges, which we got. This is overall an amazing tour and if you have the time and are feeling up for a bit, but not overwhelming challenge, most definitely spend the day with East Zion Experiences.

This is a wonderful experience you don’t want to miss! I traveled with me family of 4 from California. We enjoy the outdoors and have been wanting to visit National Parks in Utah for a while. We hiked Zion the first day of our trip and thought it was gorgeous! One day at the park left us wanting more. After several online searches we found EZE!! At first, it seemed like a challenge due to my wife’s fear of heights and my recent knee surgery, but we were so very intrigued by the striking scenery, and went for it anyway. Best decision EVER!!! We had a wonderful time!! It was super fun and we felt safe and taken care of at all times!! Our guide, Ted, is very skilled and experienced. He offered good advice and showed patience. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and even helped us capture the best memories of our trip!! Thanks, EZE!!! We loved UTAH and we can’t wait to come back to continue exploring all its wonders with you!!!
