Overview

Escape the crowds and join Roam Outdoor Adventure Co on a truly unique experience. We travel to and from the canyons in our off Road Can Am ATV Defenders operated by our experienced guides. They hold 6 people comfortably. The canyons we go to can only be accessed by private property via locked gates. This ensures that you rarely encounter others. The canyons are breathtaking and rappelling them adds to the adventure.

Being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. We are on Mountain Time and an hour different than Las Vegas and Arizona.

Because of the rappelling portion of the tour all travelers must be under 300 lbs.

What To Expect

Upper Red Cave Slot Canyon

This slot canyon is an absolute must. We will canyoneer as far up the canyon as we can. This canyon also features ancient Native American petroglyphs.

Lower Red Cave Slot Canyon

This will be one of the stops on our tour. After a 30 minute hike to the top of the canyon we will rappel into the slot canyon. Se parts of the canyon that can only be seen via rappelling.

Reading the reviews, I thought there is no way they can have all 5 star reviews. I didn’t quite know what to expect, but had a slot canyon on my bucket list so decided to go. They recently changed their location. My advice: follow the directions on the website. My email had the old address. Called and they were very friendly. Apologized and explained they were growing quickly and trying to find the best location for the business. Jerry was our tour guide and I have to say, the best experience EVER. More than 5 stars. Jerry took us on an amazing UTV ride. That alone would have been worth it. The two slot canyons were great and Jerry took amazing pictures for us. He even helped us climb into the canyon at the tight spots. It is a 45 minute drive from Springdale, but after a long day of hiking at Zion, it was so worth the drive.

Tanner and his brother younger brother were our guides. They were professional but personal, learned about their family and they learned about ours. Learned a lot about the history of the area. I felt like there wasn’t a dull moment, it was exciting, fun and exhilarating. I feel like we could not of asked for a better guide! Truly some of the repels were challenging but Tanner was so encouraging! Loved every minute with these two!!! Would highly recommend booking with them. Love to take my grand boys with me if we ever can make it back. Not one thing was I disappointed in, from the ride up, to the hiking and the repelling down...

This was such a magical experience. The UTV stuff was incredible. And the slot canyoning was unlike anything else we ever did. The guides are top notch too
