East Zion Pine Knoll Horseback Ride

Overview
Saddle up and experience Zion National Park from a unique perspective. This is more than a typical trail ride and is great for both beginners and experienced riders.

Began with a quick introduction and get acquainted with the horses. Learn their unique personalities as you prepare to spend the next two hours together. Your guide will demonstrate safe techniques for handling your horse.

The ride begins by following a trail that winds up the side of Pine Knoll through the desert forest with an intense elevation increase. Eventually, the ride exits the forest and you'll get to see majestic sweeping views of Southern Utah and Zion National Park.

At the summit, you'll pause to capture pictures that will help you remember this experience for years to come. Then, continue down the mountain, all the while learning about the area and wildlife while listening to western stories.

I just liked being on a horse again. I love the smell of horses, the sound of horses & their personalities! This ride gave us the opportunity to experience that!

This was one of the most stunning activities my wife and I have shared together. The booking was extremely easy, and the folks we worked with such as Carson were tremendously kind and professional. This was a no-frills, simple tour option and we loved that the beauty of the horses and the landscape spoke for themselves - nothing was over-sold about what we should expect. In fact, my wife and I wished we weren't timid about horseback riding (our first experience) and done a longer, more intense tour. Instead, we already are looking forward to returning for a longer ride. Our guide, Clare, was so nice and really patient, although, it was tremendously easy to get on and ride our horses, we were amazed! Clare gave us great conversation, knew the area, showed interest in us and the other guests, and took a really great photograph of us when we finished. My wife and I spent our whole airplane ride home talking about Buddy and Pepsi. Thanks to the East Zion wranglers for everything top to bottom: the great hospitality, professionalism, kindness, and love for the animals!
