Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the Eco Tour/Dolphin Watch, you will also have the opportunity to see local and migratory birds and various sea life. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home.

There was another dolphin your company right next door but these guys got my attention so I stopped at their booth. They were so friendly and made my wife and I feel so very welcome on their boat. The personal attention and information given not too mention how incredibly close we got to the dolphins made this by far, the best tour boat I had ever been on. There may be be other dolphin tour companies in South Padre but Isla Tours is the only worth actually paying for. Oh, and they cost less as well. Five stars all the way guys!!!

At the beginning of October 2015 we took our 3 girls on the Sunset Dolphin watch cruise. It was $10 a person and our 3 year old was free. I thought that was a great perk and their price was already cheaper than some of the other tours. You are also encouraged to bring snacks and your own cooler on board. They had 2 bathrooms, but no one in our family needed to use them so I didn't see how clean they were. The first mate and captain were very nice and personable. The first mate was especially great with the kids by joking and making the ride fun. Our big girls had the chance to sit in the captains chair and "steer" the boat. Our little ones screamed with delight when they saw the dolphins which is always fun for the parents. We saw many Dolphins and the ride was really fun. Most of the ride is in the bay because they are not allowed to take people past a certain point in the ocean side of island. Near the end the captain stopped at a great spot for us to watch the sunset. It was lovely and our kids thought it was wonderful. Our 3 year old told everyone for the next week that she got to go on a boat and see dolphins. I highly recommend this boat tour.

The trip was fun and informative. We did the Eco and dolphin tour but sadly we drug the net longer than they original said we would and only got a crab. Either way the dolphin watching was over the top and we definitely got more than our fair share! Highly recommend this company!
