What To Expect
1
Pure Florida
The journey begins aboard the M/V Naples Explorer at Tin City which was originally a hub for fishing, clamming, and shellfish in the 1920s.  Today it is a thriving marketplace where you’ll find over 30 unique shops and restaurants. Once the captain has sounded the horn 4 times, it’s time to leave the dock.  As you begin the leisurely cruise down the Gordon River, past Crayton Cove, and through Naples Bay, you might think to yourself this is not an eco-tour because the river is lined with yacht clubs and exclusive communities like Port Royal where million dollar mansions are the norm. Even though it may seem like a tour of the rich and famous, there is plenty of dolphin activity for your viewing pleasure and it does not take long to get to where the magic of southwest Florida’s natural beauty thrives. Once you arrive to Keewaydin Island, take in a nature walk with your Captain, fill your shelling bag with beach treasures or take a moment to dip your toes in the water!  There are many ways to enjoy your time on the island.  While cruising, you will love moving freely throughout the boat to get the best view capturing memories that will last a lifetime!  A marine restroom is available on the M/V Naples Explorer.  Guests are welcome to bring their own small coolers with drinks and snacks.  This 3-hour experience will return you back to Tin City Waterside Shops where you can enjoy shopping in one of the 30 different unique shops or eating at one of the three delicious restaurants.  You can also walk to 5th Ave South, Naples most famous street, to enjoy more shopping or eating!

Capt. Chris and Dillon were fantastic! They made this trip so much fun and informative….they made every person on the boat feel special, interacting with each of us… Lots of laughter…since Capt. Chris” retired” from the zoo he was able to really teach us about the birds, animals and the eco-system….plus he also does the fishing trips…. The shells on Keewaydin were amazing….everyone had filled up the bags that were supplied to us…hint: don’t buy any in the stores until you return from your trip.

We had an amazing trip with Capital Chris and Dyan on our tour. They were both very knowledgeable about the eco system here in Naples. We were able to see dolphins, Osprey and even a few Bald Eagles. The shelling was amazing along the shore of Keewaydin Island 🏝. Definitely worth the trip

We just came back from an amazing informative spectacular boat cruise. Marty and Sam were awesome captain and guide. The views and dolphins plus lots of wildlife were beautiful. The shells were everywhere on Keewaydin Island Beach where we had 3/4 of an hour to explore and collect shells. Paula and Christina were so helpful with information in helping me pick the right time etc. to make this trip perfect . I have also done the sunset sightseeing cruise and cannot say enough how we thoroughly enjoyed this tour as well. The boats are very clean and in great condition. All the staff are super helpful and very friendly to make your experience memorable. I cannot say enough great things about this company. My 70th Birthday gift from my son will always be special.
