Tour and snorkel Beautiful and Historic Egmont Key! This runs on Bad Dog boat! We offer a fun educational experience the entire family can enjoy. Captain will give you a history narration of the island when we approach the island. Snorkel the ruins or grass flats, they both have unique differences (SNORKELING GEAR INCLUDED). Excellent customer service. Our boats are nice!!, Our Captain's specialize in encouraging the Dolphin to jump behind the boat. This is not a guarantee to see wild dolphin however we almost always see them. Other wildlife is prevalent in the era, MANATEES, sea turtles, fish, land turtles, and of course birds. All of our tours are semi-private to private group charters. Awesome location with better quality equipment than our competitors.

What To Expect

Egmont Key State Park

Egmont Key has history dating back to the 1500's. Travelers have the option of snorkeling the ruins. This is an advanced snorkeling spot. Egmont Key also offers nice grass flats to snorkel in at more of a beginner level. Touring the island is always a popular option see turtles, birds, wildlife, and ruins from The Spanish American War.

Hands down the coolest charter to enjoy in Madeira Beach! We booked a charter for my sister birthday, and had the pleasure of working with Captain Mike and Co Captain Heidi! We were walked through the usual safety protocol on the boat, and jumped right into the fun! Hooked up our music to the Bluetooth on the boat, and 5 minutes into the trip, we’re BLESSED enough to have dolphins follow our boat for a few minutes! A very surreal experience! I felt like a little kid! Saw a number of dolphins along our trip. Got across the gulf to a beautiful spot with the BEST seashells I’ve seen ever! (And I live in Miami, near the beach, and NOTHING compares to this spot they picked). We anchored, hopped out, walked the beach, kept the crew company, and just really VIBED with each other! Mike, Heidi, thanks for helping making my sisters birthday surprise so special! We will DEFINITELY be coming back and REQUESTING these guys again! Worth every freaking penny guys! Don’t wait! Don’t search for any other company! This is the MOST affordable with the sweetest staff! Oh, hit up the Cambria Hotel rooftop pool to keep the party going! If you’re on this charter, they allow you to enter the rooftop without any problems!

Captain Mike was very hospitable, knowledgeable, and thorough about safety on the boat. He made it clear that he couldn’t guarantee dolphin sightings, but we were fortunate to see them several times! It was an incredibly hot day so we didn’t explore the island too long, but we did see some tortoises and sea turtle nests. Kids had fun snorkeling, although sadly we missed a manatee whilst on the island, and we only saw small fish under the water. As long as you manage your (and your children’s!) expectations about the wildlife they may or may not see, you will have a fantastic time. No bathroom on the pontoon or island so plan for that. Water provided but bring your own food to put in the cooler. I recommend bringing some water and snacks on the island if you have kids. (We could have lasted longer with some trail mix, I think!) Thanks to Captain Mike for a fabulous day out for our family!
