A Pedego Electric Bike is the best way to experience all that Amelia Island has to offer. A Pedego is just like a regular bike - only better. You can pedal normally (or not) and get power when you want it. It feels like being a kid again!

What To Expect

Big Talbot Island State Park

During this tour, we ride down 7 mile’s of Amelia Islands designated bike path, over the George Crady Bridge, and into Big Talbot Island where we do a little trail riding down to the beach for a ride along the sand. The power of the bike makes the our trek through the sand easy-breezy. This tour provides a taste of Amelia Islands’ natural beauty and wildlife as we bike through moss-laden live oaks, along natural waterways, and on coastal paths. On the way back, riders have the option to stop at the Shops of Amelia Island for some refreshments prior to returning to the Pedego Store. *Optional stop subject to bike availability

My husband and I spent a couple of days on Wonderful Amelia Island and were Excited to try an e-bike. There were no tours available for our bike day, but Rossi the owner was Terrific and she encouraged us to come in anyway and take our own self-guided ride. She taught us how to use the bikes and made sure we were comfortable riding them and well-equipped with helmets and water. The bikes are great, easy to use, and a pleasure to ride. (My husband was especially pleased that we rode about 20 miles and he said "had no exercise at all"). We took the same route as the tour would have taken us. The day was warm and Gorgeous and we were surrounded by such Beautiful scenery on our whole trip. The self-guided map does need some work (when you get to the end of the bike trail, you have to cross the road where the trail continues; when you get to the bridge, you take the big one to the left; if you don't take the beach path, pay close attention to the path you came on so you can get home) and we got somewhat lost before we backtracked and found our way. Rossi came to find us and (very kindly) did not charge us for our "lost" time. We loved her and the whole e-bike experience!

It was great service and experience. The staff members are super helpful. There are various bikes to choose from so that everyone will be able to find the right one. Truly recommend this place if you are looking for an easy go electric rental bike.

The staff was extremely helpful. They showed numerous different routes we could take. The instructions on the ebikes was through and the ebikes were awesome! We will do it again.
