Electric Bike Tours in Amelia Island

Overview
A Pedego Electric Bike is the best way to experience all that Amelia Island has to offer. A Pedego is just like a regular bike - only better. You can pedal normally (or not) and get power when you want it. It feels like being a kid again!

If our tour times don't work for you, give us a call to inquire about self-guided tours.

Note: All participants must be able to ride a bike. You will need to certify before departure that you have safely ridden a bike in the last 5 years.

Big Talbot Island State Park
During this tour, we ride down 7 mile’s of Amelia Islands designated bike path, over the George Crady Bridge, and into Big Talbot Island where we do a little trail riding down to the beach for a ride along the sand. The power of the bike makes the our trek through the sand easy-breezy. This tour provides a taste of Amelia Islands’ natural beauty and wildlife as we bike through moss-laden live oaks, along natural waterways, and on coastal paths. On the way back, riders have the option to stop at the Shops of Amelia Island for some refreshments prior to returning to the Pedego Store. *Optional stop subject to bike availability

We had a blast on the electric bikes. I think the kids had the most fun! Our guide, Terry, was phenomenal and very patient with the kids and luckily she liked to go fast too! I highly recommend this tour!!

The Pedego guide, Nate, was very patient and accommodating to my needs for a shorter bike with extra features (e.g. bag on the front to hold my phone and water bottle), which helped me get comfortable, hydrate, and enjoy the ride as someone who had never before been on an electric bike. Nate also gave each member of our group a lot of freedom to go at whatever speed we were ready for as well as we could stop at spots to rest and take in the scenery. The tree hammocks hanging over the bike paths, many species of birds, and coastal views were awesome. On the last note, I think this electric bike tour is an ideal way to see the natural beauty of the island as a first-time visitor (without getting too exhausted biking in the heat!), so I highly recommend it for nature-lovers and adventurers who want to try an electric bike!

We loved the co-owner of Pedego in Amelia Island. Rossi (spelling?) was so friendly and informative. We rented the electric bikes and had a blast! Next time we visit Amelia Island, we will rent from Rossi again.
