This tour was absolutely fabulous and exceeded our expectations. We saw sea otters immediately and many even had babies! The boat is comfortable and so quiet, the wildlife wasn’t scared at all. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and the area and our 7 and 10 year olds loved it. Perfect length for kids. All tours through wildlife preserve should be electric. We will come again and encourage friends to do the same to support a more eco friendly way to observe wildlife.

We enjoyed our naturalist and skipper. We learned a lot about the slough and saw a lot of sea otters, sea lions, harbor seals and birds including pelicans, egrets, herons, and cormorants. The electric boat was quiet with plenty of space to move around and stand up. The best thing was not having to paddle back against the wind like the poor kayakers. Bring your binoculars, hats and coats.

What a fantastic vessel in which to explore the slough! The entire crew was very informative and insightful. The tour size is very small and makes for a personable experience. You can easily move about the boat to have an unobstructed and close-up view of the myriad of animals that inhabit the slough. We are happy we chose this over other vessels.
