Join us on a one-of-a-kind, electric-powered catamaran ride for a wildlife tour along one of California's largest tidal waterways. Enjoy a narrated cruise along the Elkhorn Slough, a vibrant and lively wetland located on Highway 1 between Santa Cruz and Monterey in Moss Landing. Scan for otters, sea lions, birds and beyond during a cruise through these peaceful waters.

I have a 3 and 5 year old, and this was the perfect boat tour for their ages. They got to walk all over the boat to catch good views of the animals, and wow - we saw so many! Tons of sea otters (including pups!), harbor seals, and a variety of birds. Loved that we had a naturalist for a tour guide. He was so patient with ALL my 5-year-old's questions (and ours too 😜). Glad we got to have this amazing adventure in quarantine, definitely plan to come back with friends+family in our pod. Highly recommend!

This is our third tour in less than a year, and every time it is wonderful! The perfect adventure to take family and friends visiting our beautiful area, from my 95 year-old father-in-law to the 3 month-old great grandson from Seattle. The highlight of this last trip was dozens of sea otters with pups. The feeling of navigating the slough in the El Cat, an all electric boat, is amazing. It's like kayaking immersed in the sounds of water and wildlife. Thank you!!!

We had a fabulous time! They were so informative and answered all the questions we were wondering! The boat is so clean and quiet it was a great way to see the slough. We got to see tons of sea otters and seals! We also appreciate their respect of the animals and made sure not to disturb their surroundings unlike the elkhorn slough safari boat we saw that got too close to a raft of sea otters and scared them away. Thank you for a fabulous time. Highly recommend for all ages!
