This was a great tour, with an excellent guide. We saw all sorts of wildlife--seals, otters, and all sorts of birds. We will go again next time we are in the area.

Nice 1.5 hour narrated tour of a slough and wetlands area featuring otters, sea lions, harbor seals and many bird varieties with close up views and a knowledgeable and personable nature guide. Comfortable, uncrowded seating on a very stable smooth riding electric catamaran with the ability to move around on board at will. Moss Landing region is interesting in and of itself and less than 30 mins from Carmel/Monterey. Definitely recommended.

We recently took the 1.5 hour tour of Elk Horn Slough north of Monterey, CA with Monterey Bay Eco Tours. This was an absolutely wonderful experience. Seeing salt water otters by the dozens, harbor seals, sea lions and literally thousands of birds from Pelicans to shorebirds from an all electric minimally intrusive catamaran was truly memorable. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the boat operator was sensitive to the wildlife getting us close, but not intruding. We spent the previous day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. These two activities complement each other. Bring binoculars and enjoy an aquatic Serengeti!
