Graceland has to be experienced !!! For a group of friends, it wasn’t so much a pilgrimage - but you do get the feel of the magnitude and appeal of Elvis Presley. Fees are varied depending on what you want to see and do . A bus takes you to the Graceland centre that has a very large gift shop; cafe; restaurant; pre Graceland video and guide - this leads to the queue for the buses to the house . Photographers work with groups of visitors to capture a moment . Once at Graceland you are able to wander through a prescriptive route of the house - room by room . All full of memorabilia , extremely well presented and sensitively produced . The opulence is apparent from the moment you step through the front door. The gardens are beautifully maintained and there is a shrine and graves of the Presley family members. A full day spent here and it passed by in a flash . We also took a trip across the Boulevard to view the Presley plane . The whole trip was hugely impressive !!

Waited my whole life to visit Graceland. My parents loved Elvis and I was brought up on Elvis music and movies. In fact, I was with my parents in Hawaii when we all went to see Elvis, Aloha From Hawaii in 73’! The pictures that other guests take are just what Graceland is in its natural state as when Elvis bought it till his death. It’s not a very big house but it would have been 50’s-77’. What a grand privilege to see it in person and for Priscilla to open it up to the public. There is so much to see so give yourself a day to look and read everything Graceland and the Museum has to offer. There are some very sentimental artifacts and wonderful Elvis surprises. Don’t worry about the price, it’s all worth it! You will not be disappointed if you’re a true Elvis fan. From the time the tour started till we finished all the museum it took us 7 hours with little distractions. The house tour was probably a few hours but the Elvis Museum was five hours of history to read and look at. If you choose not to read everything then it will take less time. We love it and hope to come back again.
