• You can ONLY bring carry-on-size bags and backpacks

There was nothing “Skip The Line” about this experience. The only ticket that allows you to skip the line is the VIP Express. I felt sorry for all of the attendants who were taking the the heat for the people who thought they didn’t have to wait in the line that snaked down the street and around the corner.

Hi loriwM2344MD, Please note we strongly advise against purchasing tickets outside of the building. The Empire State Building is not affiliated with any of the vendors or individuals outside the building. We are unable to ensure the legitimacy of tickets sold by third parties, and in some cases guests have been sold fake express passes or overpriced tickets, which may have occurred here as we do not sell tickets under the name “Skip the Line.” As you mention, the only tickets that allow you to skip all lines are our Express Pass. We always recommend getting your tickets on our website or at our quick and convenient ticket kiosks. That being said, purchasing tickets on our website ahead of time will allow you to skip the ticket line within the building. For future reference, to avoid peak-hour lines and crowds, we recommend arriving during our off-peak hours: between 8-10 am or after 11 pm. Thank you for visiting. - Empire State Building
