MAXIMUM INDIVIDUAL WEIGHT LIMIT IS 300 LBS., with a total weight of 1100 lbs. per airplane. Anyone exceeding 300 lbs. will be required to purchase a second seat. Any group exceeding 1100 lbs. must be booked on two airplanes.
CHECK IN TIME IS 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED TOUR.
Individual guest names, weights, and contact information must accompany all bookings.
Maximum individual weight limit is 300 lb. - 1100 lb. weight limit per airplane

The State of Hawaii lifted the face mask in public areas mandate at 11:59PM on March 25, 2022. Our staff is 100% vaccinated and our airplanes are sanitized between tours. Face masks are optional on our airplane tours.

The tour of the island was great, there are some truly amazing views from the air.

We took the two-person plane ride that takes you on an hour tour of Kauai. Brian was our pilot. The plane is 60 years old and looks a little rough, but he assured us the engine gets replaced every 2,000 flying hours and it ran just fine. Brian did a wonderful job of narrating the tour of Kauai, pointing out interesting spots, vegetation, and historical facts. We really did see the entire island and got a sense of the amazing geographical areas that make up the different parts of the island. While it is true that an airplane doesn't go as low and up close as a helicopter, we paid about half of what a helicopter ride would cost, stayed in the air almost twice as long, and definitely saw all the same points of interests. I have no regrets that we chose Air Ventures over a helicopter. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!

This was a good tour and the sights were amazing! If you are prone to motion sickness, I would not recommend. My husband got sick about 10 minutes into the tour. My daughter and I did ok, but got a little queasy. Would probably have done better on a helicopter. Our pilot/guide, Brian, did a great job though and the staff was so nice to my husband after the tour and did everything possible to make him feel better.
