MAXIMUM INDIVIDUAL WEIGHT LIMIT IS 300 LBS., with a total weight of 1100 lbs. per airplane. Anyone exceeding 300 lbs. will be required to purchase a second seat. Any group exceeding 1100 lbs. must be booked on two airplanes.
CHECK IN TIME IS 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED TOUR.
Individual guest names, weights, and contact information must accompany all bookings.
Maximum individual weight limit is 300 lb. - 1100 lb. weight limit per airplane

The State of Hawaii lifted the face mask in public areas mandate at 11:59PM on March 25, 2022. Our staff is 100% vaccinated and our airplanes are sanitized between tours. Face masks are optional on our airplane tours.

This was my second trip to Kauai. My wife and I wanted to make sure that we saw as much of the island as we could. Air Ventures was booked as a combination ground/air tour. The air portion took us over the entire island and gave us some interesting facts and history. The staff was wonderful and our pilot/guide did an excellent job.

My husband thought this was the best part of the trip. They place you according to weight in the plane, which I thought was weird at first but just fine after a while. Plane only holds 7 people so it was very close and everyone had a window seat with amazing views. The rainbows from above are incredible! Ive never experienced anything in my life like this and it was so worth the money. My husband sat copilot seat and I sat behind the pilot. There is AC and everyone wears headphones that the pilots talks to you through and you can ask questions through. The flight was extremely steady and we never had any scary moments, just smooth flying. 70 minutes long and you go over the entire island. The pilot was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about so many things on the island. He was funny too, it was the best. We took our phones and our professional camera with us and it was steady enough to get smooth video and clear pictures, we took tons and it was so amazing. He flies back and forth to make sure both sides of the plane get the same view on most parts of the island, which I really appreciated. I recommend you do this at the start of your trip! We did this on the last day and we realized how many cool places we never explored after taking the air tour, had we only known before. Either way, take this tour, you will not be sorry and everyone you know at home will be so jealous!

I decided to go on this trip with my husband for his 60th birthday with Air Ventures. I chose this type of aircraft over a helicopter because I felt more secure in it. The trip was fantastic and our pilot Harry was great. The weather was wonderful. We got to tour the entire island from the sky. We had toured the island by car prior to this flight. I'm glad we did the flight after visiting ourselves because it gave us perspective of what we saw on the island by ourselves. This tour showed us things you would never see by car. The island is truly beautiful and has such a diverse topography.
