This will be an in depth review - spoiler alert I am a HUGE Saw and Escape Room fan, I've played over 150 so when I heard that Vegas had a Saw Escape Room a few years back I knew I had to play it. I'm from the UK and this was basically the only reason I visited Vegas!! We paid extra for a VIP experience (meaning it's exclusive) with a local guy I met in the Escape room enthusiasts group. He was unfortunately late but they wouldn't let us start without him as they needed his bank card and ID! This is such a strange rule - the game was paid for and as someone that has worked in Escape rooms I know that the best thing to do is get the group going so that you don't hold up any teams that are following. Why they needed his ID I've no idea. Anyway, he messaged me a picture of them both and after finding the manager to authorise it they let us start. We began to try to solve puzzles but there was no objective - we didn't know what we were supposed to do. After a few minutes a member of staff came in and took us to the next room. He wasn't in character or anything and as we walked past the locks we had failed to open we asked him what was going on - we didn't solve the puzzles?! He just said you need to move on and didn't explain anything. It was then that I realised this is a multi room experience and they need to push you through it so the next group can start. This is a horrible way to conduct an escape room. We started to hear screams from the group behind us. Rubbish. The 2nd room was somewhat solvable (and where our team member joined us) but another member of staff "joined" us in character though she wasn't wearing any costume. she pushed us to solve it in the allotted time and we moved on to the next room. Once again nudged and heavily hinted by the extra person. By the 4th room I loudly declared that we were being pushed through this experience and we'd like to solve some puzzles ourselves and the extra person left. This was the room with the oven in it - if anyone knows the answer to that room please let me know as 3 experts couldn't solve it and we ran out of time. We were moved on to the next room by the extra person who continued to help and push us through it. You get up to 8 minutes in each room but she was telling us the answers so quickly we were moving on within 5-6 mins. Such a shame as the decor was great but we had no time to appreciate it. We exited the whole experience after 40mins and I burst into tears. It was so awful and I looked forward to it so much. We paid over $60 each. The experience boasts 90minutes play time so I was ok paying more but it didn't deliver. It's not an escape room, I've no idea if the puzzles can even be solved without the "helper". We expressed our feelings (mine was obvious) to a member of staff at the end but they made no apology or attempt to make it any better. Basically it was "sorry you didn't enjoy it - bye" Having worked in Escape rooms, offering a free game would be minimum in a situation like that. They have a whole gift shop, maybe a free gift or refund? But no.

Loved it! This escape really embodied the SAW franchise and was super fun! We were paired with a great group of other participants and we worked together really well to make it through! Our tour guide was awesome as well! Definitely a must visit when you’re in the area!
