Everglades Airboat Safari

Overview

Explore the Everglades on an airboat adventure. This tour includes transportation, park entrance, airboat ride, the airboat tour, and free time to walk the park and see all the alligator exhibits. Have the chance to see alligators up close in their natural habitat, as well as the many exhibits scattered throughout the park. This half day tour departs twice daily at 9:30 and 1:30.

6 of us went on this outing. 4 adults and two children. It was fun! We (the Grandparents) and the two children have never been on an airboat or to the everglades before and it was a blast! Austin was the young man that drove the airboat and gave us all interesting information about the everglades and was funny. It was really fun riding thru the "river"! (A fact I learned from Austin) They had an instructional show afterward with alligators and crocodiles. Then you had a photo op holding a small alligator. Our grandson was all over that, the rest of us passed! There is a restaurant and gift shop on site. We passed on lunch but all had an ice cream, I bought my every vacation souvenir - a Christmas Ornament. The transportation was an air-conditioned bus that was very comfortable. The driver was very nice. I have read in other reviews that the drivers were rude, I did not experience that. I would say if you've never been to the everglades that this is a very nice intro.

The ride from Miami was the longest part of the journey, bus was hot. The fan boat ride was very short in duration and we didn’t see much. The tour guide on the boat was full of facts though and it was a learning experience. The show was the highlight of the short tour. It was funny and informative with Some cool animals.

Me amd my girlfriend went yesterday on this tou, our bus driver Leo was 5 stars, he talked to us about the tour and told us where to take nice pictures all the ride. When we came there another 5stars guy (don’t remember the name) was our tour Gide. The trip was amazing. I was the only one how saw a alligator in the water, but like whey say “they don’t garanti you are gonna see one” after the boat ride we saw a alligator show and had a opportunity to take a picture with a alligator (3$). I recommend this tour.
