Everglades Airboat Safari

Overview

Explore the Everglades on an airboat adventure. This tour includes transportation, park entrance, airboat ride, the airboat tour, and free time to walk the park and see all the alligator exhibits. Have the chance to see alligators up close in their natural habitat, as well as the many exhibits scattered throughout the park. This half day tour departs twice daily at 9:30 and 1:30.

Alligators…they are inexplicable! They are atrocious! They are exciting! And above all, they are must see when you are in the Everglades. If you wish to get up-close and personal with alligators then there’s no better way out than taking alligator tours.

I called the office two times. Both times they seemed rushed, and were not very helpful. Our hotel was downtown, but they indicated that we would need to come to the main office. We drove a car and had to pay for parking. Once we got on the bus, the bus then proceeded to drive back to where our hotel was. It was VERY frustrating. The website was also unclear that our boat ride would be only 1/2 hour, while the bus ride is an hour. Once we got on the bus, the bus driver was great! He helped everyone and told us fun facts about Miami as we drove to the tour spot. The tour was fun, and we were able to see 3 alligators.

Bus air conditioning was horrible and was broke down for 30 min trying to leave. They said it was a 45 min ride there. It took 1.5 hours

Airboat ride was little shorter then expected but was a great experience and informative. Overall it was great.
