Everglades Airboat Safari

Overview

Explore the Everglades on an airboat adventure. This tour includes transportation, park entrance, airboat ride, the airboat tour, and free time to walk the park and see all the alligator exhibits. Have the chance to see alligators up close in their natural habitat, as well as the many exhibits scattered throughout the park. This half day tour departs twice daily at 9:30 and 1:30.

Well worth a visit-take the 3 trip option as there is more to see and is cheaper when you take the Mangrove, Airboat and Open top safari. Book with them direct online, beware of the heat in June, it was 100 degrees and very humid, take a brolly for the open top safari!

The guide was great, very knowledgable, we got to see a few aligators out in the wild. Then we got to hold some baby aligators. Few other animals there to see too. Worth what we paid for the experience.

Except for the fact that the agency on site somehow forgot to organize a boat trip for our bus for about 2 hours, it was an interesting experience, despite the fact that it was obvious that almost everyone involved in the organization of that trip did not make much effort to pretend we were anything but another crowd to be entertained. In addition, the entire trip took much longer than 3 1/2 hours. But what more could be expected for that price? We finally had that pretty awesome and educational boat trip, saw a huge alligator in the Everglades, could pet a baby alligator and buy delicious, though expensive "gator bites" from a food truck. I would rate the overall experience a decent price-performance ratio.
