Our Florida vacation included this amazing visit to four parks and events within the Everglades and was a highlight of our truncated vacation in March 2020. The morning boat tour to see the dolphins was a bit of a slow start and we passed the mango islands and bird roosts too quickly but still enjoyable. We saw so many amazing birds, Roseate Spoonbills being especially gorgeous. The airboat at the secluded lake also featured every type of heron and egret as well as countless alligators. A boardwalk into swamps lead us to playful river otters, anhingas fishing, many herons all in an idyllic water wonderland. The Seminole visitors center was also a nice visit with handmade items. The adventure tour bus held just 12 people and our guide was friendly, informative and accommodating, although the pick up away from the list of hotels was a bit confusing. This tour was a terrific way to sample the Everglades and find the places you must come back to see again. Highly recommend.

Ben could not have been more enthusiastic and educated about the wildlife and fauna we experienced. He made the day because he obviously cares about the Everglades and the environment. We loved both the boat trips and the park, lunch was exceptional considering we were in the middle of nowhere. Our only negative was the airboat ride, it was interesting and we did see a lot of wildlife but question why the boat driver seemed to want to scare the birds into the air rather than just stopping the engine and letting us observe them. It did not fit with the rest of the tour in that we were quiet and careful to observe the birds. It would also be better to have a PA system on the bus, though small there were questions being asked on the way home we could not hear nor could we hear the responses. Ben is the best, caring and very knowledgeable.

Thank you for great review of your tour with Ben. He loves his role as a guide and it shows. I'm glad you were able to see an abundance of wildlife. I apologize for the behavior of the airboat captain. Flushing wildlife is never acceptable. I have spoken to the owner of the airboat marina who has assured me they will avoid doing that in the future. Thank you for helping us make a change for the better.
