We seen absolutely nothing. Just a boat ride through high water and some weeds. We had a group of 6 of us. Spent a total of 2.5-3 hrs on a bus. when booking trip I tried to tell coordinator that we wanted to meet at the final destination, but they would not budge. It was a wasted day for us!!! came from Ohio for a 4 day trip and spent from 1300-1800 on a bus and a lame boat ride. Would NEVER recommend this site to friends. Can I request a refund? Not worth $59 pp when an airboat ride is only $29 from direct location.

Good Evening, first of all thank you for taking the time to leave your comment. We explain!! the miami swamp boat ride does not guarantee that you will see anything other than what you saw so is the ride where you go past and across the everglades lake which obviously has weeds!! Second, the tour is not private, we pick up all the passengers who have a reservation for that day, presumably it has a long duration! Third for $59 you have (round trip transportation plus the ticket to the boat) if the next time you see you want to pay only the $29 plus tax you must drive to the park in your vehicle and buy it directly there!! We are always in order anyway!

I am conflicted on this review, as the facility and experiences are very nice. The cost for 4 adults was $158.32 but in addition you basically have to pay for the employees wages. As a result the true cost was well over $200.00. Once you pay your entrance fee you are assigned a group number. We were only interested in the airboat ride, but were told to go to the show first since it would be some time before our number would be called for the airboat tour. There were a lot of people so it was an organized way to handle the crowd. The volunteer handling the show did an excellent job. It isnā€™t my cup of tea seeing him pry open the alligatorā€™s mouth to put his head in, but many seemed thrilled with it. I did learn a few things & he did his best to engage the audience. At the end he said he works as a volunteer, does not get paid and would appreciate any gratuities. He never made anyone feel pressured to give, but of course we felt it was reasonable to tip him for his time. On the airboat ride there is a sign that gratuities are greatly appreciated, which we already had planned on. Our surprise came at the end of that tour, when the airboat operator said he works as a volunteer, and gratuities are the only money he receives. He stood at the front where you had to pass him, so it could be awkward if you did not tip. We never mind tipping for good service, but felt we should give more since he does not receive a salary. It was a good tour, when we would encounter an alligator, he was sure to slowly turn the airboat 360 so everyone got a good view.. Iā€™m sure the cost of the running this place is high, but I do not understand for the cost of entrance why the two workers we encountered do not receive any compensation. It just does not sit well with me. This facility is owned by the county and is leased out the the State Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Good morning, we appreciate your time and your comment..!! Our tour includes roundtrip transportation, the entrance to the park with the crocodile show and a ride on the propeller boat. We do not control the tips of the employees since it is optional for each client if they felt pressured or uncomfortable, sorry ..! Have a nice day!!
