Overview

A kayak safari with our very comfortable and stable kayaks is an excellent way to see the Everglades up close with a guide leading the way. Our Biologist Trained Guides/ Florida Naturalists are the top in their field and truly have a genuine passion for conservation and showing our guests this amazing area. These mangrove tunnels are truly special and different then those in nearby Marco and Naples; holding more wildlife and biodiversity. Once you get back from the trip there are some great nearby places to get lunch and other activities that our guide will point out. A percentage of every tour goes towards the conservation of these amazing areas! Paddling with us is like paddling with friends who truly care.

Can't recommend Shurr Adventures enough. We booked for the wrong date and they messaged us to double check and help us change it. THEN one of us got hurt the day before we were going to kayak, and Alli and the rest of the team were SO willing to help us reschedule if we needed. No exaggeration, they were super kind, so easy to work with and so helpful with any issues. The tour itself was fantastic. Three of us, plus the tour guide, took single kayaks north, then south, down the Turner River. Joe, our tour guide, was incredible. Super engaging, very knowledgeable, and really funny. If you get the chance to work with him, count yourself lucky! We got to see gators, tons of cool birds, and a good amount of fish. Baby alligators were hanging out in a couple places and Joe knew the best places to check for them :) All in all, incredible experience.

Great time with a great guide! We had family of 5 and we paddled through the mangroves and learned a lot about the local wildlife and Everglades. Saw some gators but felt safe the entire time!
