Everglades National Park Dolphin, Birding and Wildlife Boat Tour (2 hours)

Overview
Everglades National Park is unique on our planet. It is a wonderful, water-filled paradise that is best accessed by a quiet, slow-moving, shallow draft boat. One of the best loved residents of the Park are Bottle-Nosed Dolphins. Watching dolphin, in their natural habitat, interacting with each other, something that you will never forget.

Our full-time, formally trained, Florida Master Naturalist guides will safely take you deep into the 10,000 Islands of the Everglades. While searching for dolphins, manatees and some of the 300 different species of birds that call the Park home, you will learn about the different Everglades ecosystem, its long history and rich culture.

You will have fun and learn a lot. Don't forget your cameras!

We had 6 people, including two children ages 5 and 7, on the 2-hour trip into Everglades National Park with Captain Don McCumber. It was a fabulous trip! Don was wonderful and gracious with the kids, along with being informative and funny with the adults. We saw several groups of dolphins who approached our boat to play in the wake, and Don engaged them beautifully. We were enchanted! We learned about Calusa Indian history, how the 10,000 Islands were formed, and about many native and migratory birds and wildlife. Knowing so much about this amazing ecosystem, Don took us to several Keys to see Osprey and their nests and large flocks of White Pelicans, among other birds. We brought two sets of binoculars, and Don offered his, too. In this age of Covid distancing, this proved to be a fun and safe outdoor activity for all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
