Everglades National Park Dolphin, Birding and Wildlife Boat Tour (2 hours)

Overview
Everglades National Park is unique on our planet. It is a wonderful, water-filled paradise that is best accessed by a quiet, slow-moving, shallow draft boat. One of the best loved residents of the Park are Bottle-Nosed Dolphins. Watching dolphin, in their natural habitat, interacting with each other, something that you will never forget.

Our full-time, formally trained, Florida Master Naturalist guides will safely take you deep into the 10,000 Islands of the Everglades. While searching for dolphins, manatees and some of the 300 different species of birds that call the Park home, you will learn about the different Everglades ecosystem, its long history and rich culture.

You will have fun and learn a lot. Don't forget your cameras!

Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

I found so much comfort in what we did. I enjoyed relaxing for once in my life and just enjoyed everything about this trip. Ed knew everything we asked him about from history of the area, to birds and other animals, as well as other places we had to visit. Often times you ask someone "what else do we have to see here before we leave" and they will tell you a place to eat... Ed pointed us right in the direction of some awesome nature and we were happy with that as well. Overall the trip was awesome, our tour was amazing, we got to see quite a bit, and we got so many cool sea shells! Thanks so much for this

On October 3, 2020, we went on the the 10,000 island boat tour with captain Kent Mundy and Bobby Thoner. We had a great time learning about the mangrove islands seeing a lot of birds and seeing several dolphins. Kent and Bobby were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout this tour. We loved it so much, that we will be coming back. GREAT place to visit! Thanks Jackie & Magela

A fascinating 2 hour trip around the islands and shallow waters of the Everglades. The dolphins went AWOL but a pair of nesting ospreys made a very acceptable substitute. A couple of little logistical improvements would help though - though booked and confirmed through Expedia the vouchers said it was ā€˜important’ to confirm the booking by ringing a certain number. On arriving at the meeting point (not dockside) the place was locked up with a sign also saying ring this number. Neither of these are really acceptable for foreign visitors who may not have a cell phone with them and would in any case cost a roaming international call.
