Everglades National Park Dolphin, Birding and Wildlife Boat Tour (2 hours)

Overview
Everglades National Park is unique on our planet. It is a wonderful, water-filled paradise that is best accessed by a quiet, slow-moving, shallow draft boat. One of the best loved residents of the Park are Bottle-Nosed Dolphins. Watching dolphin, in their natural habitat, interacting with each other, something that you will never forget.

Our full-time, formally trained, Florida Master Naturalist guides will safely take you deep into the 10,000 Islands of the Everglades. While searching for dolphins, manatees and some of the 300 different species of birds that call the Park home, you will learn about the different Everglades ecosystem, its long history and rich culture.

You will have fun and learn a lot. Don't forget your cameras!

We originally signed up for the Everglades National Park Wildlife Boat Tour, but had to re-book due to unforeseen circumstances in our vacation plans. The man behind the customer service was extremely helpful and after all was said and done we ended up doing the Dolphin, Birding, and Shelling Tour with Captain Ed and First Mate Kim. What a wonderful time!!! Both Ed and Kim were very knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and sure knew what they were doing! We were a bit hesitant about the whole shelling thing...but came around to really love it. This was our first time to the Gulf side of FL and could not believe how close the dolphins got to boats and the overall beauty of the area. When we return to the Everglades, we will be booking with Everglades Boat Tours again (probably for the boat-assisted eco tour)!

Booked the 3.5 hour tour for some guests and worried it would be too long - it most definitely wasn't! Time flew and we saw a lot of the area and so much wildlife. Captain Ed and first mate Kim were great - they were welcoming and their knowledge and information was very much appreciated! The guests were talking about how great it was for the rest of their trip! ( we did the trip around Marco island!)

We had an amazing afternoon with Dan on our boat trip. Our 11 year old was thrilled to have dolphins chase our boat. We took a walk along a sandy beach and Dan shared information about the sea animals and shells. It was an awesome day! Would definitely do it again.
