The food was all fresh and wonderful. The guide was informed about the history of the stores and the market and the affect of the market to the city and surrounding areas through its existence. Group introduction to the fish throwers. Definitely a good tour to do.

Mark made this tour extra special. We had experienced the market on our own the day before when it was teeming with people and its vastness was overwhelming. Having Mark take us through the market early when stalls were being set up and before many people arrived was perfect. He gave us great information about the market and had a great sense of humor. Plus we had wonderful food and drink; everything from pupusas to brownies. We tried three types of salmon preparation at the famous Pike Place Fish Market and got a great show of them throwing fish! While every taste was yummy (and some I had never tried) the salmon burger at Rub with Love Shack took top honors in my book. Really can't say enough good things about the tour and the participating vendors. And we were so full we didn't need lunch!

Definitely recommend this tour. A great way to learn about the Pike Market & sample 8-9 yummy food samples. (The tour ended at 10:30am & I was not hungry again until 5pm.). Our tour guide was Heather & she was knowledgeable & enthusiastic.
