This tour was just ok. Lucky was our guide and was very knowledgeable. Not sure that I needed to know his life story, but.... it felt a bit rushed and was more about the history of pike place. This was fine, but i guess when it says tasting tour you think it's all about food. We spent more time in the outside skirts of the market instead of in the market itself.

Hi Janet - The Early Bird is a tasting tour, but also a cultural and history tour. We are sorry if it wasn't what you expected. The tour includes at least 8 stops for tastings at various vendors who are our partners, so we are concerned that you only experienced 5. We will follow up with the guide. Although it may have felt like the 'outskirts', our tour covers the heart of the Market, but many of the food vendors are not 'inside' a building. Sorry for any confusion! We had Lucky as our guide to the market and gosh was he fun! We learned so much and had a blast! He knew everything about the history of the market and showed us how the businesses there work together to support each other and the community as a whole. He was great!

Chip was absolutely amazing! His knowledge and friendly personality were unparalleled. Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide. We’ve taken a lot of tours and this one was by far the best. The food was awesome as well as the history lesson that he gave us about the market. 10 outve 10!!
