Most people who visit Pike Place Market during their time in Seattle are amazed and leave wishing they had a similar market in their own local area. I know we did. If we lived anywhere near Seattle, this would be a place we would visit 3 or 4 times each week. The tour guide, Kalle, was great. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the market and this added to the overall experience. The first stop was at Honest Biscuit where we enjoyed a cheese biscuit and coffee. Then on to countless other stops including the Seattle Fish Market, Daily Donuts where we had bacon and maple glazed donuts (amazing), the Miss Café (fantastic), Market Spice Shop where you can find a vast variety of spices and teas (yes, we brought some home), and Indie Chocolate which is a "bean to table" operation and their chocolate is made on-site. The tour begins around 9:00 AM and lasts until around 11:00 AM. You then have the rest of the day to go back and visit shops you saw during the tour. All in all a very enjoyable and informative tour. Two thumbs up for this tour.

We had a great tour. It is a small group and you get some great history and some taste treats. We did the early tour and it was nice because later in the day it gets busy. The market is huge even doing the tour we did not put a dent in everything they offer. It was a great way to get to know the market and our guide was great. The market is spread out and a little tricky make sure you get directions where to meat the group.
