Our guide was great, and most of the food was delicious. It was nice that at a couple of places we sat down for a few minutes. We also had a little time at Market Spice for a fast purchase. The only things I would change would be the 1 location of where the guide had us stand outside while she described some of the history - there was a sewer smell, and 2 the Asian dish was a little too spicy for some, it would have been better if it had been something milder.

great tour! We saw and heard a lot of the history of the market we would have missed if we were not on a tour. There was more food than you could possibly eat. The guide made sure to include a photo opp for the flying fish.

We absolutely loved the food and the people in the Pike Place Market. We really cannot say enough about how good the food was and our tour group was awesome. We started with some amazing biscuits from Honest Biscuits, had some delicious fruit from Frank's Produce market, Maple Bacon Doughnuts, lovely tea and spices at a spice store and some sandwiches. We also went back to the spice store that we visited on the tour in the afternoon to purchase more spices as gifts. The fish throwing was simply unbelievable and the people that worked in the fish market were some of the nicest people on the planet. Meeting with the owner of Indi chocolate and hearing her stories about how she develops the chocolate from Brazil was a wonderful experience. Our only comment regarding our tour guide is that she was fabulous with information about the vendors and loved the suggestion that if we had time, to bring the people in the market a coffee to tell them how much we appreciated their efforts because they were a family. We did this in the afternoon as well and it was greatly appreciated by the fish vendors. We only wish that when she was correcting us because we weren't tight enough in a group or we were a little too much in the road or we were slightly in the path of a doorway, she didn't make it sound with her tone of voice like we were a group of little kids she was angry with for misbehaving. Really loved the whole experience of the food. Definitely a foodie ideal tour. :
