Lucky made this a fun, educational tour for both those of us who were local and for out of town visitors. When the 20somethings call out Lucky and this tour as one of their favorite activities while visiting Seattle, well - that’s saying something.

The guide is a true professional, knowledgeable of his work and excellent communicator, but do not pay for this tour to learn the history of the city, it was to get to know its gastronomy I don't think it's fair that the tests are Greek yogurt, cherries and Mexican tacos and just a taste of smoked salmon that they do it to everyone in the market If you want to learn about the local gastronomy don't buy this tour, walk through the market for a whole day and that's it, if you want to know everything related to its creation and where to eat it may be your best option

Hi Gleyder, So glad you liked your tour guide, and sorry the tour wasn't what you expected. The tastes include the best foods the market has to offer, and though it isn't necessarily a 'gourmet' food experience we do strive to offer a good variety of the most famous vendors, most of which started in Pike Place Market. It may be that you were looking for something more like a chef guided foodie tour, instead of our more classic tasting tour with history.
