I did not expect much going into a firing range with a ‘museum’. However, I was blown away (pun intended) at how much of a great time the family had with this activity. First the staff is super friendly and clearly used to clients with zero gun experience. The front staff was helpful in selecting a package. Secondly, the general manager was quite generous as we visited the museum to explain the collection and the story behind some of the acquired pieces (frankly they could make this an experience also). Finally our instructor Brian was friendly and patient in teaching us and sharing his experience, way beyond what should be expected. We also never felt rushed by time as everyone took turns in shooting and watching/taking picture of others. We all left with a better appreciation of the difficulty and the danger of gun handlings. Learning the proper gun etiquette from a veteran is quite frankly the best introduction (even if it’s the first and last time) anyone can have to one of our current world’s reality. The quality of the staff and instructors is what drives the experience at Lock & Loaded. I hope their future success will not take away their focus from recruitment excellence.
