Recently held an family get together in SF, and one of the places we visited was the Exploratorium. Our party included ages ranging from 12 to 62. I can genuinely say everyone enjoyed this excursion. I felt like a kid again. Great for anybody but most especially kids to discover about science and some of the everyday things we take for granted. Spent over 3 hours there and could have stayed longer. We probably only saw half of the exhibits. You can get your hand stamped so you can re-enter if you decide to temporarily leave the place. Highly recommended.

Brought my sister with me to San Francisco, sported the exploratorium right at the Embarcadero. I typically try to go around that area when I come to SF. I only live 1 hour away from SF as it’s always chilly. It’s chilly mostly because of the bay. I brought my sister to the exploratorium, she really enjoyed it. We are science geeks and enjoyed it a lot. We went to the exploratorium and they even had an educational show on dissecting a cow’s heart and teaching it to everyone on how the heart works for both cows and humans. Super interesting place and full of interesting stuff!! You definitely need at least 3 hours to fully go through each station. There are 6 stations and each is about 30-45min. They also offer military discounts!

Could have spent another day! Fascinating displays, one after another. Kids enjoyed everything. Lunch was pricey! $95 for 5 for hot dogs, fries, mac and cheese and one salad. Bring your own.
