Great place to visit and explore. Lots of fascinating exhibits. Well worth the visit and price. Could be a bit busy at times.

The Exploratorium is my go-to destination when I have family and friends in town visiting from the East Coast, also cousins from Japan. You see their kids' eyes truly LIGHT UP from the minute they walk in! Everything is interactive, "touchable" and fun for all ages -- so we all get into it together. I find that it give me a chance to engage with my young cousins, to meet them on their level and learn new things together .. and ultimately to create memories, since we only see each other a few times a year. The Exploratorium has become a family tradition for us. The location is ideal, too -- parking lot across the street, and you can walk down to The Ferry building afterwards for an ice cream, blue bottle coffee -- and the adults can even have a glass of wine!
