The Exploratorium is using a timed entry ticketing system to reduce visitor density in the museum. To redeem your admission, simply arrive at the museum on the date that you wish to visit and present your Viator ticket(s) at the Ticket Desk to receive the next available timed entry ticket(s). Please note: there may be a wait to enter if the museum is at capacity. A limited number of walk-up entries are allotted in each 30-minute entry window throughout the day until 4:00 p.m.

NOTE: In accordance with the City of San Francisco Vaccine Requirement, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and a valid photo ID are now required for all visitors ages 12+, without exception.

This place is great for small children and the cafe had a lot of healthy choices that my daughter enjoyed. One word of warning if you buy your tickets on viator you CANNOT use it to upgrade to an annual membership. Wish I had known this before I purchased!

Get there early and bring some snacks. You and your kids are going to want to do everything. I have 2 kids and they wanted to see, touch and read everything. Its a must do when visiting San Francisco. This is a great place to kill some time if you have a day to spare.
