This Extended Lakes Helicopter flight takes you beyond the lake view flight. You will fly directly over Douglas Dam, and proceed over the lake. In the summer you get great sun-glistening views of the water and the people enjoying their time on the lake. During the winter months, the water level is lower allowing for incredible views of exposed islands and coves. Minimum of 2 guests to book flight.

On this tour you will climb to almost 1000 feet. You will see view of the French Broad River, Douglas Lake and Mountain Views in the distance. This is our most popular lake flight.

If I could give a 10 star rating I would love to do that. I was in Gatlinburg to propose to my girlfriend and I had no idea what to do or how to do it and they pulled the best proposal you could ever find anywhere. Our pilot PATRICK and JAY out boarding attendant are the best. I recommend everyone visiting the area for any event or just a family vacation to head to Scenic Helicopter tour and ask PATRICK to be their pilot and JAY to be their boarding attendant and they truly will help u pull the best memory of a lifetime NOTE ::::: JAY took the pictures and the pilot PATRICK was making a heart with his hand the whole time the pictures where being taken. I didn’t know until we got home and looked at the pictures and it was sooo beautiful. Patrick if you are reading this thank you soo much.

This was on my 85 year old mom's bucket list. We loved it. She was so excited and disappointed when it ended. She is coming back to visit at the end of October and she has already asked if we can go again and take the longer flight over the Smokies. So excited to experience this with her again. Staff was absolutely incredible. From Jay the boarding attendant to Rusty, our pilot, they were all amazing. Such a great experience all around.

Whew! Drake and Jonathan was so amazing! The entire team was really! I ride solo so they arranged it to make sure I could ride! Drake is so funny and handsome too ☺️ Jay assisted me before and after the flight and kept me laughing!! Jonathan made sure I knew exactly what to do. I wish I could give so many more stars! Make sure to tip your pilot and the team at scenic!!
