This Extended Lakes Helicopter flight takes you beyond the lake view flight. You will fly directly over Douglas Dam, and proceed over the lake. In the summer you get great sun-glistening views of the water and the people enjoying their time on the lake. During the winter months, the water level is lower allowing for incredible views of exposed islands and coves. Minimum of 2 guests to book flight.

On this tour you will climb to almost 1000 feet. You will see view of the French Broad River, Douglas Lake and Mountain Views in the distance. This is our most popular lake flight.

this was my first experience riding in a helicopter and I am hooked. The boarding attendant Zac made sure we knew how to board and get off safely. He made sure we understood what to expect. He was very friendly and easy to talk with. Our pilot Alex did a great job showing us the highlights of our tour and the flight was very smooth. I would like to nominate these two for Pilot and Boarding Attendant of the month. I will be back to go again on a longer ride and will tell everyone about my experience. It was great!

My wife booked this trip for my birthday and it was well worth the money. I’m a fixed wing pilot and love every chance to get in the skies. They let me jump up front with our pilot and enjoy the best seat in the house. Zac was a great guide and excellent pilot, even threw a few jokes in. If you’re looking for a helicopter tour I’d recommend Scenic Helicopter Tours and ask to ride with Zac in the R44!

Everything is perfect. I wished that the price for the Smokey Mountains tour were cheaper. Make sure to sit in the front for better view.
