Overview

This is extreme sledding in the classic alpine tradition - following a fast, snow covered road that switchbacks down the mountain. Take a ride up on one of our amazing snow vehicles (Finnish army snow cat or monster truck and sleigh) and then take an adrenalin charged ride back down the mountain on one of our racing sleds or a davos style Swiss alpine wood sled. For smaller kids we have an unsupervised mini sled park with fun twists and turns Your ticket includes a training session and 3 full rides

For about 35-40$ this was by far the most best bang for ur buck activity in Breckenridge. My 3 friends and I came on vacation here and stopped at the Country Boy Mine before hitting the slopes the next day. The extreme sledding was more then we could ever asked for. The childish fun yet extreme and thrilling speeds is a unique blend that can make any snow fanatic smile ear to ear. This is a MUST stop place, and I would even go as far to say I recommend extreme sledding over skiing.

We had a large group and while most of the group had a great experience two in our group had injuries. First of all I’ll preface it by saying my son is a 13 year boy who loves things extreme. Unfortunately he hit the barrier part way down and went through the barrier, went through some branches and hit a tree after his helmet came off. Nobody in the group could find him and was calling his name then we saw him come walking through the trees with a ripped up coat missing his helmet and gloves. He had some blood on his wrist and chest. Thankfully the injuries weren’t worse. The coat had to go into the trash. Our adult daughter also hit a barrier and injured her wrist. She had to get an X-ray when we returned home and ended up in a wrist brace. Our other child and everyone else in the group made it out injury free. All in all everyone had fun. We signed up for extreme and we got it! I took two stars off on my review mainly to warn people that they really do mean extreme. Make sure your helmet is fitted correctly. It shouldn’t come off so easily. They were very busy that day as it was Thanksgiving week.
