Extreme Sledding in Breckenridge: High Speed Excitement

Overview

This is extreme sledding in the classic alpine tradition - following a fast, snow covered road that switchbacks down the mountain. Take a ride up on one of our amazing snow vehicles (Finnish army snow cat or monster truck and sleigh) and then take an adrenalin charged ride back down the mountain on one of our racing sleds or a davos style Swiss alpine wood sled. For smaller kids we have an unsupervised mini sled park with fun twists and turns Your ticket includes a training session and 3 full rides

Super fun place!!! We are in our 40’s and felt like kids again! The staff was wonderful, friendly and patient. The location and historic building were beyond neat!! Coolest outhouse bathrooms I’ve ever seen - they even had heaters in them with epoxy floors!! We did their sledding event. The sleds go fast!! Hold on right and learn how to take the curves (go wide) while using your feet to break. You are on your stomach while sledding so if this doesn’t appeal to you, then this may not be your thing. But, take a chance and I guarantee you’ll have a blast!!

From scared to confident! I was so afraid at first. I even debated on backing out. We went down the training hill, and I felt very uncomfortable with the helmet and walking back up the hill. I ended up ditching the helmet and went for it. While there are some steep looking inclines, it’s not as bad once you’re on it. I drug my feet the whole way down to stay slow the first time and I was so much more confident the second time and actually had fun. 10/10 would recommend and we will surely be back! John was great at making us feel comfortable to go down. And the miner taught us well.
