This is a very worthwhile tour, our tour guide is very knowledgeable, he picked us up promptly at 8 am in the hotel. We went to North Pole to see Santa's house which is also a gift shop, then to Santa's barn to see his 8 beautiful Reindeers! We also visited Trans Alaska Pipeline, a couple of museum, one is a Community museum at down town Fairbanks, and the second one is a modern and beautiful Museum of the North - managed by University of Alaska in Fairbanks. Our guide accompanied us during the museum visit, and gave us further inside knowledge of the local terrains during different season, and how the native Alaskan travel during those time.

Brandon, our guide arrived promptly at 8 and it turned out that we were the only two people on this tour. He was very enthusiastic and exceptionally knowledgeable about the Fairbanks area as well as the native people who originally inhabited Alaska.

We visited the Fairbanks native peoples cultural center and learned more about the people who originally inhabited Alaska. Brandon guided us through the exhibits and explained how the artifacts related to the very survival of the original Alaskan people. We then visited the Alaskan Pipeline and saw how it was constructed. We also visited University of Alaska at Fairbanks where they had a very fine museum of more recent Alaskan history. Our last stop was to the city of the North Pole where we visited and took pictures with Santa Claus. Surprisingly, they also had a Christmas Gift Shop there too.

It was a great day tour!

Excellent tour with interesting information very well presented by Tristen. It was great that Tristen was a native of Fairbanks and had many valuable pieces of historical information. He was able to put them into context so that we were able to get a very good picture of Fairbanks and how it came to be, from founding to the present. He also was able to discuss how it might evolve as future events might impact the future of Fairbanks.

Tristen was very patient and thorough in his descriptions at the various stops and along the way between stops. He was able to present an excellent overview of Fairbanks over the course of this tour. FIVE STARS earned.
