Overview

I've been an outdoor adventure guide in Big Bear for the last five years. I've been exploring all the best hiking trails in the Big Bear Valley for the last 20 years. It's hard to find an easy hike in Big Bear; A lot of trails are steep and hard for little kids. This trail is actually stroller-friendly also, which you can not say about a lot of hiking trails in the mountain communities.
I love the peace and solitude of this trail in the woods. It's hiked mostly by locals who live in this neighborhood and is not a tourist spot. I personally love to share the local history around the Big Bear Valley. I really enjoy pointing out different flora and fauna to my younger guests and teaching them how interesting nature can be like the wild native insects we might see on the trails

We had a really great time with Amber. She took us into a great little hike and snow play area. This was just what we were looking for as an activity with our kids. The hike was gorgeous, and it was only us up there. It was so quiet and peaceful. Our kids (4 and 11) had a great time! Amber was super friendly and knowledgeable and was able to share some great info with us. Definitely recommend!

We did two activities with Amber, the picnic and the sunrise hike. Both experiences were amazing. We were out there for my birthday and she was really attentive, she brought birthday napkins, plates and utensils and included free cookies as well.

We booked the family hike and we had a great time! It was so beautiful! Amber was so knowledgeable and super sweet! Highly recommended it! We will definitely book with her again on our next visit!
