Our tour guide, Pam, was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, helpful, and accomodating. As far as the actual tour, there were only two distilleries and one winery that actually seemed to want us there. The others all seemed as though they couldn't be bothered with us and were just going through the motions. The moonshine distilleries were worth touring because we had never tasted moonshine before and didn't realize they make so many different flavors. If you don't like sweet sweet sweet wine, don't bother with the wineries. Apparently 90% of TN's wines are sweet. I like full bodied red wines so I was out of luck.

Thanks for the kind words about our guide Pam. She is a very good tour guide and she loves her job. She really enjoys interacting with the passengers. I'm sorry all the distilleries were not pumped to see you when you entered the facility. Unfortunately that isn't something we can control as we don't own the distilleries we only facilitate the tours. Rest assured though if we did own it we would be playing "Eye of the Tiger" as soon as you walked through the door. We would have acted like best friends and talked about old times over a jar of shine or really sweet wine. Can't really control the flavor of the wines either but we will pass on your comments to the establishments. I happen to love sweet wines myself and can't stomach the flavor and bitterness of a dry wine ... but that's why we visit so many wineries, because there is a wine for every taste and I guess Tennessee just aint got your flavor. We are seriously glad you joined us on tour and I honestly wish we would have had more drinks that you enjoyed. If drinks are not your forte maybe one of our historical or heritage tours would best suit you. We have some fantastic stories to tell and we know all the best places to visit. I hope you still had a great time with us and with your vacation here in the Smokies.
