What a blast! Fantastic guide and more than enough stops to leave you feeling tipsy. 6 stops total- 3 wineries and 3 distilleries with plenty to sample. Our guide was knowledgeable and gave a lot of information while driving between the tour stops and gave ample time to enjoy ourselves at each stop.

Dusty was our driver and he was pretty fun. We anticipated 3 stops based on the description but there were 6 stops on the schedule. There were 19 of us on the bus (3 different groups). The first two wineries were not equipment to handle a group that size so they split us up since the wineries were close to one another. The challenge was each winery treated us as walk in guest versus a group on a scheduled tour that they knew were coming. We had to wait as they took care of their walk in guest (which was not the issue). We were a time based tour so the longer we waited the higher chance we would have to skip a stop. Between the first two wineries we spent 90 minutes waiting and tasting. Time was ticking!!! The next stop the distillery set us up in our own section and told us what we were sampling versus up picking. This worked out great! He was quick and we had a great time. Checking out took a bit of time but the stop went smooth. The 4th stop was a small distillery that again was not equipped to handle a tour group. After 10 minutes of waiting the group made the decision not to wait any longer and to skip this stop. Dusty took us to our final stop that included both a winery and a distillery tour. The winery was small and thankfully NOT busy so we sampled pretty quickly. The distillery put all of us in our own section and we sampled together and had a blast. I love that we saw smaller more local wineries and distilleries but that was a challenge as well. These smaller places are not equipped to handle large groups. I would still recommend this tour but I do think the operators and the wineries/distilleries need to evaluate capacities and the ability to serve a tour and their normal customers.

The Tennessee xxx was my favorite this time, last time it was Sevier distilling but that wasnā€™t on the tour. The tour guides style wasnā€™t real popular with anyone in our group, the sexual references were not an add, last years tour guide was significantly better, and then their was the bus ac not working.

Gad dang who was your tour guide and why on earth would they be making "references", I'd be interested in knowing cause that aint cool. We have always had issues with people getting to hot on the buses, no matter which bus it is or how new it is or how great the AC is when you get 10-20 hot bodies on a bus drinking alcohol you will always get hot. This is a given and there is no way around it unfortunately. Fortunately though you spent very little time on the bus, its just a vehicle to get you from stop to stop. You spend probably 45 minutes out of the 5 hour journey aboard the bus with no ride being longer than about 15 minutes tops. Not to mention we are in the South and it was July ... so there's that. Gets to like 130% humidity in East Tennessee due to the fact we border a 500,000 acre National Park that is a temperate rain forest and creates moisture constantly which is how it got the name Great Smoky Mountains. As for Sevier Distilling ... we don't go there no more cause it went out of business. I guess the guide didn't have the heart to tell you that at the time since y'all wasn't vibe'n to well. We loved Sevier Distilling but it seems the only business it got was the business we brought it plus they fired their 2 best pour guides and brought in some people who were less than friendly. Anywho ... hope you come back and see us. We will strive to hit that 100% mark again and turn things around. We will be redeemed!!
